Crosswords (or arrow words) are a popular word game in which players must find all the words of a grid by using the definitions given in the appendix. The grid is usually rectangular in shape and consists of both black and white squares.
The black boxes are used as separators, indicating that any series of contiguous white boxes between two black boxes located either on the same row or in the same column corresponds to a word that must be found. The game can be adjusted for difficulty by selecting the size of the grid.
